Account Deletion Request

We respect your right to control your data. This page explains how you can request deletion of your AquaTrack account and associated personal information.

How to Delete Your AquaTrack Account

You can request the deletion of your account through the following methods:

Option 1: Within the App

  1. Open the AquaTrack app on your device
  2. Navigate to Settings (gear icon in the bottom navigation)
  3. Scroll down and tap on "Account"
  4. Select "Delete Account"
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your decision

Option 2: Email Request

If you're unable to access the app, you can email us with your deletion request:

  1. Send an email to aquatrack2025@gmail.com
  2. Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line
  3. In the email body, provide the email address associated with your account
  4. We'll process your request and send a confirmation email once completed

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When you request deletion of your account, the following will occur:

  • Your account information will be permanently deleted from our active systems
  • All personal data associated with your account will be removed
  • Your aquarium data, fish records, and water parameter history will be deleted
  • Any subscriptions will be cancelled at the end of the current billing period

Data Retention

Some information may be retained in our backup systems for up to 30 days before being completely removed. We may also retain certain information if required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

Third-Party Data

While we will delete the data we control, please note that information shared with third parties (such as posts you've made in community forums) may persist according to those platforms' policies.
